On behalf of Fr. James, the PCC and the congregation of St. Luke’s, I would like to thank you all for the amazing work you have done cleaning so many smoke damaged items for us. You have been more successful than we could have imagined in our wildest dreams. As you can imagine, we would have been very sad to have lost so many of the items, and your help in this was wonderful. Thank you also for the care for detail that you showed, I suspect that as well as the hard work, that quite a lot of thought went into some of the more difficult pieces, especially the vestments.

On a personal note, I would like to say a thank you, whenever I appeared, and whatever I brought to you, there was never a feeling that I was a nuisance. Everyone was truly kind and welcoming, and very generous with their time. It was a pleasure to deal with you all in, what was to me, a quite trying time. You really made a difficult job easy for me.
